Solar Energy
The solar energy methods are entering our lives more and more because the understanding of its benefits. The sun will always be there, and the heat and light will always come to earth. It’s a fact, so why not using it for the best of producing alternative energy?
Solar energy technologies can be found on private roofs, inside factories, in major plants in open areas and in marketing area's. The technologies collect the sun light and heat and convert it to useful energy. There are two main way to convert the sun into solar energy:
1. Heat engine: the sun heated some pipes or tanks filled with water, oil or other liquids. These liquids are used to heat a turbine and the energy is produced. As the heat collection is getting better, the more solar energy it can produce. 2. Photovoltaic: the sun light is converting to direct electricity power via special sun collectors called Photo Voltaic cells. These cells can be made of silicon, glass or other composite materials and can convert the sun into the power stream in your house.
As the green technologies are getting better and effective every day, the need for power is increasing. It starts with simple sun collectors to heat some water for shower and ends with special plants which moves toward the sun during the light hours and collect as much alternative energy as possible. The solar energy produced can be used for just about anything that we consume regular energy, even automobiles and electrical products such as the solar lamp.
Once you manage to produce solar energy you need to find ways to save solar energy in order to maximize the usage of the produced energy. You can read more about it in various sources online.
